Tata DoCoMo has become the first operator to confirm that they will be launching 3G services by Diwali, this year.
The company has the spectrum in 9 telecom circles- Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Punjab, Haryana, UP (W), Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Bharti Airtel has the spectrum for 13 circles, Reliance Communications for 22 circles, while Vodafone has 9 circles, Aircel bagged 13 and Idea Cellular has 11 circles.
However, there is still no comment from Tata Teleservices on what the tariffs for the service will be, but it is confirmed that Tata will launch 3G services under the DoCoMo banner.
